Front End Cover

Factory Front End Cover

Take off at 120mph! photo taken at midpoint of main straight at Summit Point

AKA the paint protector but officially known as a front end cover. It works as I can count the chips on my front end on one hand. It's looks are controversial. Some say it ruins the lines of the car and I would tend to agree but I didn't really buy it for the looks anyway. It fits very well and is perfect for the street and is fairly stable at speeds up to 100mph

BUT..... DO NOT..... take it on the track!

Even with additional clips I sewed into the cover to hold it on tightly it will flap considerably at speeds approaching 120mph and threaten to take off in the wind! See left for what I mean.

Borla "Cat-Back" Exhaust

Stealthy Borla Twin Tip Exhaust

I got it cheap so I slapped it on. Nice tone but as I learned more about exhausts, I discovered it to be fairly restrictive. It is only a 2 1/2 pipe and comes in two pieces clamped together. Cosmetically the welding was pretty bad but with the twin tip design it looked fairly stock - if you are into that kind of thing. It is an all SS exhaust and has that famous Borla million mile guarantee. I sold it for more than I bought if for so I think I made out Ok.
